40,000 hectares, is planned in the districts of Van Yen (24,700 ha), Tran Yen
(8,500 ha), Van Chan (6,600 ha).
Harvest products Cinnamon
The annual harvest of 5,000 tons of dry cinnamon
bark, 150-200 tons of oil. The annual export volume from 1000-2000 tonnes,
mainly export markets are China, India, Taiwan, ... Besides medicinal uses,
cinnamon is also used to produce raw materials in perfumery, food processing.
Cinnamon oil product is extracted from the stems, leaves, roots, cinnamon, used
mainly in medicine, food flavoring to enhance the health, resistance to the
body, ... Aldehyde content cinnamic cinnamon oil in 85% or more.
Currently, the province of Yen Bai has 08 plant
extract large cinnamon oil with a total capacity of 700 tonnes / year located
in districts with cinnamon focus area such as Flavours Ltd located in Central
Vietnam the Mong commune, Tran Yen district built by foreign capital, and a
capacity of 100 tonnes / year; Company Import and Export Trading Limited Dat
Thanh has 02 factories in Dong Cuong and Hoang Thang, Van Yen district, a total
capacity of 100 tons / year; Agriculture and Forestry Joint Stock Company Yen
Bai food products plant located in Son Luong, a capacity of 60 tonnes / year;
Co., Ltd. Changan has 02 factories located in Phong Du Ha, capacity of 170 tons
/ year, ... There are also more than 200 basis cinnamon oil distillation small
scale household production per years from 300-800 kg / 01 basis.
Cinnamon
bark is purchased for both fresh and dried are classified, semi-processed and
processed products according to customer requirements, including: Que clamp 3

pieces, cinnamon crumbs, chopped Cinnamon, Cinnamon high quality ...
Cinnamon split is consumed mainly in the Indian
market, India imported annually from 3500-4000 tons; Que clamp 3 mainly
consumed in the Taiwan market from 5-10 tons; Que tube cells mainly in Japan,
Korea, Taiwan, Canada and the United States from 1000-1500 tonnes / year;
Cinnamon chips consumed mainly in the Middle East and Central Asia about 1,000
tons / year; Cinnamon and pipes mainly Chinese market; Cinnamon oil is mainly
sold in the Chinese market, the US, France, Belgium.
With over 16,000 hectares of cinnamon, Van Yen
district was named "Kingdom of cinnamon". Cinnamon is available in 27
communes and towns of the district, of which over 50% of the mining period. Van
Yen cinnamon is regarded as the production of goods with large-scale, export
markets every year from 4000-5000 tons of dried cinnamon bark types, earning
tens of billion. Currently the district has plenty of businesses purchasing
products dry cinnamon bark, hundreds of cinnamon oil distillation by manual
methods, ingredients are cinnamon twigs and leaves are utilized in the Dai Son,
Vien Son, Phong Du Ha, ... Especially, oil processing plant with a capacity of
200 tons of cinnamon products / birth year has created new step for the
development of the district in particular and cinnamon province Yen Bai
general.
